A Kinnauri’s Promise
I’m Dhiraj Bhandari, a tribal boy from the heart of Kinnaur, a land blessed with rich heritage, pristine nature, and a community dedicated to sustainable living. Growing up, I was inspired by my father, a hardworking farmer, who instilled in me a deep love for our traditions and a commitment to our land.
I always wanted to do something for my society and it’s people, So after completing my graduation in B.A. (Hons.) Economics, I started preparing for my desired job i.e. UPSC CSE & State PCS, I gave many mains & even reach reached the interview stages of UPSC Assistant Commandant, Intelligence Bureau (IB) & Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW), but unfortunately till now I haven’t be able to get my desired job.
After years of academic pursuit & struggle, I realized that my true calling lay in sharing the treasures of Kinnaur with the world. With “Zangti,” a name synonymous with the golden waters of the Satluj River, I aim to bridge the gap between our idyllic valley and your doorstep.
